Know Before You Go

Planning your next trip? Our free one-page reference sheets are a great place to start. Passport & visa guidelines, best times to travel, what mobile apps to download and more. We take these and customize for our clients based on their specific trip adding location specific info, tips, activities, weather, etc. Every place listed here is somewhere we’ve been ourselves or done in-depth research for a client trip.

Download the sheet or read the full trip story behind it.

North America

Canada

The great north. Canada is a nature-lovers paradise, from Nova Scotia on the east coast to the Canadian Rockies. But there is more to Canada (and Canadians) than a love for the outdoors. Major metropolitan cities offer dining, sports, and cultural experiences. We have a lot more of Canada to explore but have loved our time exploring the west.

Mexico

A haven of all-inclusive resorts and ancient native history. A popular spot for winter getaways a short distance from most US Cities. We’ve only scratched the surface of this country.

Europe & Scandinavia

France

France

One of the most surprising trips we have had in the past decade. Parisians gets a bad rep but we had a fantastic time and felt as welcome as any non-fluent French speakers could feel. From the historic sites in Normandy and Paris to the small villages in wine country and along the coast. France has a lot to offer if you’re willing to step out of your comfort zone.

Whimsical Castles, Wine and WWII History – Our Tour Through France (coming soon)

Iceland

Otherworldly landscapes without leaving our atmosphere. We honeymooned here in 2016 with a 10-day Ring Road Road Trip. A great location for US Citizens looking to embark on their first international adventure.

Italy

Italy

A popular destination for so many reasons. Art, Food, Wine, Mountains, Ocean – a little something for almost everyone. After many years of having this on our ‘to do’ list, we finally visited in 2026.

Ireland

Ireland

A great location for US Citizens looking to embark on a nearby international adventure.

Antarctica & South America

Antarctica

A destination for those willing to work for it. This bucket list trip was the perfect way for us to celebrate a major life milestone (saying goodbye to our full-time corporate careers)! Real recommendations based our own 11 nights exploring the White Continent.

Argentina

Argentina

A capital city with architecture that will make you feel like you’re in Europe not South America. Amazing wine and beef. Home to (a portion of) Patagonia and the southernmost city in the world. Gateway to Antarctica. We loved our time in this country.

Visiting our first South American country (coming soon)

Ecuador

Ecuador

A popular jumping-off spot for the Galápagos Islands, Ecuador deserves a few days of its own. Chose Quito over Guayaquil for safety reasons and utilize local reputable tour companies to put your mind at ease. Rainforests and volcano mountains await.

Journey to the Center of the World (coming soon)

Uruguay

Uruguay

A small country great for a short week or long weekend trip. A great add-on if you’ve visiting Buenos Aires, Argentina. We hit the popular spots (Montevideo, Colonia, and Punta del Este) after our trip to Antarctica.

History & Beach Vibes  (coming soon)

Asia

Japan

A childhood dream realized…Sakura (cherry blossom) season in Japan. We spent over 20 days circling the island of Japan chasing cherry blossoms. From the temples in Kyoto, the food & anime of Osaka, to the modern city of Tokyo, this country is rich in tradition with an eye for the future.

Africa

Tunisia

Not at the top of many travelers lists but a fantastic place to visit if you want to swim in the Mediterranean or camp in the Saharan Desert. Tourism is rising in North African nation, and they are ready to welcome you. We spent 6 days touring everything from ancient Roman ruins to Star Wars filming sites.
